Service Delivery
What you book is delivered in person, at Edava beach, on the dates you chose. Nothing is posted and there is nothing to track.
What “delivered” means for each thing we sell
Rooms & dorm beds
In person at Sree Eight, near Manthara Temple. Your booking is confirmed by email immediately after payment; the stay itself is delivered from check-in (1:00 PM) on your arrival date to check-out (11:00 AM) on your departure date.
Surf lessons
In person at Edava beach on the date and time confirmed with you. Beach transfer from the house is included, so delivery starts at the house, not the sand.
Board rental & ding repair
Collected from and returned to the house. Repairs are quoted on inspection and are usually finished the same week.
Surf camps
Over five days and four nights on the published camp dates. The deposit confirms your place; the camp is delivered from Day 1 check-in to Day 5 farewell.
Cancelled or changed plans are covered by the cancellation and refund policy.
Nothing is shipped
Kuma Surf sells accommodation and in-person surf instruction. There are no physical goods, no courier, no tracking number and no delivery address to enter at checkout.
Everything is delivered in person at the house and on the beach at Sree Eight, near Manthara Temple, on the dates you booked.
Confirmation is immediate
As soon as your payment succeeds you get a confirmation by email, and usually a WhatsApp message from an actual person shortly after. That confirmation is your proof of booking. Keep the reference, since it is what we'll ask for if you need to change anything.
If a payment leaves your account and no confirmation arrives within an hour, message us. Do not book again. We'll find the payment and sort it out.
If you don't turn up
The service is still delivered, the bed is made, the instructor is on the sand, and neither can be resold at short notice. What you get back in that case is set out in the cancellation policy.
Delayed rather than absent is a different thing entirely. Flights slip and trains from Trivandrum are what they are. Message us and we'll hold your room.
Getting to us
We're at Sree Eight, near Manthara Temple, about an hour north of Trivandrum airport and eight minutes from Varkala's North Cliff. Edava railway station is the closest stop.
Airport transfers aren't included in any rate but we're happy to arrange one. Ask before you travel rather than on the day.

These terms are governed by Indian law and the courts of Kerala have jurisdiction. Nothing here limits any right you have under applicable consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement. Questions about any of it, ask Kuma Surf directly. We would rather explain it than have you agree to something you did not read.
