The café

Everyone eats at the same table.

Breakfast happens after the first session, under the thatch, with sand still on everyone's feet. Fresh fruit, eggs, and coffee worth getting out of the water for.

Bed and breakfast, in the literal sense.

Breakfast is included with the rooms. It is not a buffet and it is not room service. It is a pot of something on a long wooden table and whoever surfed that morning sitting around it.

Fresh fruit from the market, dosa and eggs, and coffee that arrives before you ask.

The kitchen runs until 11pm. Ask us for the menu and prices and we will send them over on WhatsApp.

Not staying with us

Breakfast at Edava beach for ₹250, no room required.

You do not need a room key to sit down. Outside guests are welcome at the breakfast table for ₹250, and chai or juice comes with it.

Surfing with us but sleeping somewhere else? Stay for breakfast and eat at the same table as everyone staying in the house.

From the kitchen

Kerala breakfast, with toast for the cautious.

The cooking is Lekha Chechi's: a homemade Kerala breakfast, with fresh fruit, juice, eggs and toast alongside it.

The toast is there for your first morning, just in case. Nobody keeps score after that.

Around the corner

For the mornings you want someone else's cooking.

Not every breakfast has to be ours. Café Mimosa is right next door for a quick one, and Tickety Boo on Black Beach Road is where we send people for dosa.

Baker & Mill, also on Black Beach Road, is a French bakery with fresh bread and pastries, open from 6:30 in the morning.
